How to verify a result and claim a prize safely
A searchable archive is convenient, but a claim should never depend on a third-party screen. Verification starts with the exact draw and ends with the current instructions from the official authority.

Begin with the official result
Match the lottery name, draw code, draw date, ticket series, full numeric number, and the prize-tier rule. Use the official source link shown on our draw page or open the Kerala State Lotteries result portal independently. Do not rely on a cropped image or forwarded message.
Check the number visually against the official document even when a scanner or search reports a match. Transcription software can confuse characters, join columns, or assign a number to the wrong heading. The official document and Government Gazette remain the controlling records.
Protect the ticket and record the details
Keep the physical ticket intact, dry, and secure. Do not alter its printed number, barcode, signature area, or other security features. Make a private note of the draw code and date and retain a clear image for your own records without publishing the barcode.
If two sources disagree, pause. Recheck that both refer to the same scheme and draw number, then contact the Department or a District Lottery Office. Send us the draw code and tier as well so we can investigate our transcription.
Follow current claim instructions
Official result sheets commonly instruct winners to verify against the Government Gazette and surrender the winning ticket within the stated period. Prize amount, identity documents, tax treatment, and the office that accepts a claim can affect the procedure.
Deadlines and document requirements can change, so obtain the current checklist from the Kerala State Lotteries Department before travelling or handing over a ticket. This site cannot accept claims, validate identity, or guarantee payment.
Recognise common prize scams
A message saying that you won a draw you did not enter, asking for an advance processing fee, demanding a one-time password, or requesting remote access to your phone is not a safe claim process. Do not send money merely to release a supposed prize.
Use contact details published on the official government portal rather than numbers supplied in an unsolicited message. Never publish a complete ticket image before a legitimate claim is resolved, because the number and barcode can be misused.
